new song : THIS NEW WORLD : 1 point something minute sample

Hey, I got a new song,
Recorded it a few months ago.
Listen to the 1 point something minute sample if you have time.
Or listen to it even if you don't have time.

Anyway, still got more coming.

And for those who haven't heard my experimental "lovelight", enjoy.

The bomb

Did you know that fiber-enriched Pineapple Juice is good for healthier digestion?  After drinking one this morning, I suddenly felt the need to drop the bomb..

Ammunition

I recently learned a very important life lesson.

"You have to die to your own side of the story"

If you don't, then get ready for war.
If you do, embrace the peace and grace.

Jesus had all the right to defend his side of the story when they
were going to crucify him.  It was the ultimate act of injustice.

"Hey Jesus, we want to crucify you because you healed our blind neighbor.  And oh yeah, didn't you know that the punishment for being so gracious and kind is torture and death on the cross?"

Jesus had all the right to defend and even win the case.
But he died to his own side of the story.
He kept quiet.

Lesson number two:

"Sometimes you just have to shut up."

You have to burn your ammunition.

No Time For Girl Waiting

Men are designed by God to aggressively pursue something. Men are not designed to wait but to offensively act upon their calling.  The "waiting" that I am pertaining to here are the things that keep men from moving on with their mission.  On the other hand, "waiting on God" can still be considered as the pursuit of His next command.  When God created Adam, He gave Adam duties to rule over the animals, to name them, and to act upon his calling as a man. God never told Adam to wait for Eve. God never told him, "Ok Adam, I want you to wait for your partner, and in the mean while, why don't you go out and tame that lion". First, it was Adam's relationship with God, and and second, his calling to follow. There was no room for girl waiting.

What are men doing today? Are they pursuing their calling or are they pursuing a girl they're not even sure about?  Are they waiting for God's next command or waiting for the girls next life decision so that they can match it with their own plans? Are they taking their calling for granted because they are desperately waiting for a girl (or anything else for that matter)? How pathetic can a guy be?

The fall of man began when Adam chose to wait for Eve.  Adam could have been aggressive with his calling to not even go near the tree (he could have even gone further and cut the tree down), but instead he chose to wait while Eve conversed with the serpent. And thus the fall of mankind as we know it.  The waiting was elevated over the calling.  That is a clear picture of some men today.  It's either they are pursuing or waiting apart from God's will.  Waiting or Pursuing won't matter. As long as you know that you are not pleasing God, then what you are doing is wrong.

First of all, I do believe that waiting are for girls. Girls were designed to wait for their knight to sweep them off their feet. But this must not be the case for guys. Men are not called to wait for a girl.  Guys must be fully devoted to their calling until God "enables" them and "calls" them to pursue a girl and start a family. Men are designed to attack. Its a constant pursuit to please God. Its a constant denial of our own desires, so that we can fully follow through on Gods plan for our lives.  If we know that we are still not called to pursue a girl, than that's a sign that we must use our years as single men to pursue God's will for our single life.  Then when it comes time to pursue a girl, it will still be all about pursuing God's calling. It's an infinite loop of pursuing God. No time for waiting (except of course waiting on God's next command).

As a personal application, I have decided to not wait for "the girl".  I do know that God will bring my princess to me one day, but I'm not counting any days as to when this will Happen. God might bring her to me tomorrow for all I care, but Im not waiting.  My life is not about a girl, but about God. It might take 2 years, 5 years or 10 years. It doesn't really matter as long as it is in God's timing.  My delight right now is to serve God will all my heart, soul, mind, and strength.  I am after God's romance. I know my calling, so there is no time for girl waiting. peace.

So if you are a student - you are called to study, so you better not fail another exam.

a song for my saviour

come chase me . my failures bleed . with every inch I walk away
contain me . without sight . my turbulent mind goes through the night

but i can feel you in the light

like daylight . invades me . and throws the flavors on my wall
as tides rise . my spirit cries across the night to meet your eyes

cause i can see you with my mind

everytime you take me back to where I'm born again
another call and i am on your side again
